Bueno, no queria preguntarte nada en particular, solo ponerte una foto, la foto del trocito de Acropora que quedo depues de cortar la rama y partir esta por la mitad con tu sierra ¿recuerdas?

Pues bien, esto fue el 11 de Octubre, y esta es la situacion a dia de hoy 6 de Noviembre, menos de un mes :satisfech

Well, I really dont need to ask anything in particular, just wanted to post a photo for you of the small piece of Acropora that resulted when you cut the branch in half with your saw. Remember?

Well this was on October 11 and this is the situation toda, November six, less than one month :satisfech

Acro, ya te daré todos los detalles (aunque no puede estar en aquella fiesta <snif>) pero es una sierra circular de mesa con disco de diamante. Se usa para cortar azulejos. Tiene un depósito de agua.

Acro, I'll give you all the details (although I coulnd be at that party <snif>) but it's a circular table saw, for tile, with a diamon blade. It has a water resevoir.

It is also testimony to how very hardy such corals are, because the "workshop" we conducted was not the ideal conditions for individual corals. We worked for a long time... the water became cold... there was a lot of mucus and mixing of corals, tools, etc.

Yet I hear that most all of the "victims" lived very well :) Ha!

Yes... most corals are so very hardy. And when we take the techniques that we discussed in the workshop and apply them in fast and more careful sessions to individual propagation actions, the success can be even greater.

I look forward to hearing of more progress :)

Es también un testimonio de cómo son de de duros los corales, porque el "taller" que montamos no estaba en las condiciones ideales para corales individuales. Trabajamos durante un largo rato...el agua se enfrio...había mucho mucus y corales meclados, herramientas, etc...
He oído que la mayor parte de las "victimas" han sobrevivido muy bien :) Ha!
Si...la mayoria de los corales son muy duros. Y cuando se utlizan las técnicas que comentamos en el taller y se aplican es sesiones más rapidas y cuidadosas a acciones de propagación individual el éxito es incluso mayor.
