Perfecto anthony la verdad es que aprendo mucho de tu experiencia.

tengo una duda que me a surgido al hablar ahora de nutrientes.

El metodo zeovit en teoria hace bajar los nutrientes en el acuario para despues añadir otros "controlodamente". Seria otra forma de combatir las algas indeseable???

¿que opinas del metodo Zeovit?
Estoy pensando en montarlo y estoy un poco liado, bueno tengo claro que lo quiero poner pero me frena que no se si tendre tiempo para hacerlo bien.

But to initially answer your question, I do not have a very strong opinion about the efficacy of zeovit in general. Zeolites are widely varied in usefulness and composition. They can be sued well and they can easily be abused. In my opinion, with quality zeolite, the best application of it is exactly as it is marketed: to Acropora specialists. But even then it is very difficult in my opinion to finesse the application long term with such a nutrient starved system. Yet that is(!) in part the intention of using zeolites for improved color in corals. If you are an advanced aquarist with Acropora species tanks... great :) But for general coral keepers and especially beginners - I do not encourage the application without advising the aquarist to read and fully understand the methodology.

That all said, the methodology preached by the "zeo-heads" :) is very(!) good, sound aquarium husbandry! It is commendable... yet I must admit I do not use it either. I do not need it. There are many, many ways to run a successful aquarium... using zeolite is only one way of course.

Pero para contestar tu pregunta, no tengo una opinión fuerte acerca de la eficacia de zeovit en general. Las zeolitas tienen unas comopisiciones y utilidade que varían mucho. Pueden utilizar ebien y pueden facilmente ser abusadas. En mi opinión, con una zeolita de calidad, la mejor aplicación es tal
como se vende: para especialistas en Acropora. Pero aún en estos casos es muy dificil afinar su aplicación en el alargo plazo con un sistema desprovisto de nutrientes. Si, eso es, en parte, la intención del uso de zeolitas para mejorar la coloración de los corales. Si eres un acuarista avanzado con un acuario específico de Acropora, fantástico :) Pero para los que mantienen corales en general y especialmente los principiantes - no recomiendo la aplicación al menos que se lea y comprenda completamente la metodología.
