The first thing of everything is that I read (I inspired) in your article about the Acroporas in ReefCentral to do my article, undoubtedly yours is better... In order that members of " other forums " should not say anything, it would like to know your opinion on if my article seems to be to you "copied" of your article...

After this, I would like to know more on the nourishment of our corals, on the Pocilloporina and on that temperature is better for our corals, in relation coloration / growth

I am sorry to do these questions to you, part of your conference spoke on this in the IAM, but I could not go, and had problems with the computer and could not listen correctly the retransfer.

La primera cosa de todo es que leí (me inspiré) en tu artículo sobre las Acroporas en ReefCentral para hacer mi artículo, indudablemente el tuyo es mejor... Para que los miembros " de otros foros " no digan nada, me gustaría saber tu opinión sobre si mi artículo te parece "copiado" de tu artículo...

Después de esto, me gustaría saber más sobre la alimentación de nuestros corales, sobre la Pocilloporina y sobre la temperatura que es mejor para nuestros corales, en la relación coloración/crecimiento.

Siento hacerte estas preguntas, parte de tu conferencia del IAM habló de esto, pero yo no pude ir, y tenía problemas con el ordenador y no podía escuchar correctamente la retransmisión.

Yes Erik that's rigth. I wrote an article about acropora after reading your posts in Reef Central, and taking the general idea and terminology (translated to spanish) that you expose about care of those wonderfull animals.

Other spanish people, told me that it was a copy. You can see it in our e-magazine Arrecife Vivo (Live Reef).

I'm twelve years old, but i love acropora and sps corals, and care some sps in my own 30 Gal. minireef.

Now I'm interested in your opinion about how pocillloporin can help to improve coloration of sps.

Sí Erik eso es. Escribí un artículo sobre las acroporas después de la lectura de tus posts en ReefCentral, y tomé idea general y la terminología (traducido a español) que expusistes sobre el cuidado de estos maravillosos animales.

"Otras" personas españolas, me dijeron que era una copia. Puedes verlo en nuestra revista de Arrecife Vivo .
Tengo doce años, pero me gustan las acropras y corales sps, y cuido algún sps en mi 120 litros,minireef

Ahora estoy interesado en tu opinión sobre como la pocillloporina puede ayudar a mejorar la coloración de sps.

Pocilloporin is a fluorescing protein that tends to be expressed under conditions of high light. It is one of a family of fluorescing proteins, and their function and ability to be expressed may vary greatly within and between species.

Así como resumen la pregunta era cual era la opinión de Eric sobre la pocilloporina y su función en los corales.

Eric responde que es una proteina fluorescente que se muestra bajo condiciones de luz elevada. Es un componente de la familia de las proteinas fluorescentes y su capacidad de manifestarse varía grandemente entre especies e incluso entre individuos de la misma especie

AGG le pregunta si existen vías para incrementar la cantidad de pocilloporina y si la alimentación o la temperatura de color de la luz pueden influir.

Le pediré a AGG que ponga las dos versiones de ahora en adelante.

basicamente uno pregunta (AGG) en que influye el pocilloporin que es una proteina de las acroporas y otros corales y como se potencia esta para conseguir un mejor color, eric contesta que esta proteina es una proteina fluorescente que se ve potenciada por condiciones de alta intensidad de luz y creo entender que su funcion es la de diferenciacion entre especies.

espero que sea eso lo que dicen porque sino.......!!!
